RQVM – Leather Urns from Stockholm

We craft every urn in our small Stockholm workshop. One tanner. One urn. One piece at a time.

The leather comes from Tärnsjö Garveri, just north of us—vegetable-tanned using oak and mimosa bark, then nourished only with tallow and beeswax. No chromium, no machines, no second pair of hands. What you hold is warm, alive, and honest. It smells faintly of forest and workshop, and it will age as beautifully as memory itself.

Four sizes, the same uncompromising care in each

Before any urn leaves, the maker presses their private mark into the base. No two will ever be exactly alike.

That is RQVM. Handmade in Stockholm, to keep close on a shelf or to bury with quiet dignity—wrapped in honest leather and living wood, returning a life to the earth with the same honor and beauty it was lived.
